American Dog Rescue Helps Squirrelwood Equine Sanctuary Rescue More Than 100 Horses from Slaughter

American Dog Rescue has donated $5,000 to Squirrelwood Equine Sanctuary, a horse sanctuary in New York, specifically aimed at fulfilling their Christmas Miracle of saving 100+ horses from slaughter and bringing them to the sanctuary. Part of the purpose of this project is to draw attention to the abandonment of pets (horses in this case) who outlive our attention and are cast aside and sold for slaughter.
