Northern Texas Gains a New Dog Rescue Organization

AUSTIN, TX (August 21, 2009) Divine Dog Rescue, a new 501(c)(3) rescue organization for dogs in northern Texas announced today it had attained approved status with the IRS. Nancy Underwood, its executive director, thanked all of its contributors, and especially The Gail L. & Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation for funding and advice, which has enabled it to be founded about eights months ago and to ahve supported over 500 rescues and adoptions during this period. “Without people who care enough for the dogs of Austin and Dallas, we never would have made this hurdle”, said Ms. Underwood who is a lawer by trade during the day and a rescuer by night and on weekends.
